Penne Caesarino

As a Birthday request, I thought that I would make a this nice little pasta dish for my wife! And her nice little belly. Days are getting closer to the arrival of little Quinn. Sheri loved this dish when I used to make it at the restaurant. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does!

Penne Caesarino

1 lb penne pasta, cooked
1 teas. chopped garlic
1 teas. olive oil
5 oz salami, sliced & diced thin
3 oz onions, sliced thin
2 oz mushrooms, sliced
3 oz white wine
2 oz chicken stock
2 T butter
basil, sliced
salt
pepper
Romano cheese

Method:

1. in saute, heat garlic, oil, salami, onions & mushrooms on high.
2. add wine, stock & butter. reduce heat.
3. add cheese, basil, salt & pepper.
4. add pasta.
5. plate & top with cheese.
