Filet Sliders with Grilled Asparagus and Gorgonzola cream

On this eve, all of my fellow Clevelanders are sleeping lightly with one eye opened.  The tension in the air around this city is as high as I've ever seen.  I guess the sign is correct, We are all Witnesses!  to what, who knows??? We'll find out in about 21 hours or so if we can catch the river on fire again!? I sure hope not.  Well, Cleveland, here's a simple little recipe for an upscale luncheon that might just take away the summer blues!

Filet Sliders with Grilled Asparagus & Gorgonzola Cream

4 four ounce tenderloin steaks
1 teas. roasted garlic, ground
salt & pepper
fresh rosemary
4 each mini slider buns
fresh asparagus
olive oil
1/4 c Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1 c heavy cream
1 T butter

Method:

1. season steaks with garlic, salt, pepper & rosemary.  grill to desired temperature.
2. season asparagus with salt, pepper & oil. grill
3. in sauce pan, heat cheese, cream & butter on medium heat until nice cream sauce forms.
4. place steaks on buns, top with sauce and serve with asparagus.
