Flavor!. It's that simple. Flavors are what makes food well, FOOD. They are the reason we go back to the restaurant we love, the reason we'll stand in long lines at fairs. The smells and the flavors give us an exacting location on where we were when... You can be instantly time warped to a dinner table at your grandma's house when you were 6! Southwest Cheeseburger
1 lb ground chuck
1 poblano pepper, skinned, diced & sauteed
1 red onion, sliced & caramelized
salt & pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 avocado, sliced
3 slices pepper jack cheese
2 slices cheddar cheese
2 slices bacon, applewood smoked, cooked
4 oz medium salsa
2 hearty sandwich rolls
Method:
1. in bowl, combine beef, poblanos, onions, salt, pepper & cayenne.
2. grill burgers to desired temp.
3. top with cheeses, bacon, salsa & sliced avocado.
4. place on bun & dig in.
