Roasted Garlic Butter

For years I hated garlic, see mom rarely cooked with it and I really wasn't used to the flavor.  That changed however once I started working at the first restaurant I worked at.  there was at least a hint of garlic in lots of the menu items.  Garlic is good but, when roasted it can be fantastic!  Here's a little spread that you will be making a part of your everyday routine! use it in pasta, on steaks, chicken, fish & most importantly, bread!  This makes a good bit of butter, no worries; it will hold covered in fridge for quite some time.

Roasted Garlic Butter

3 lbs margarine
1 lb salted butter
4 T. minced garlic
2 T. olive oil
2 T. Lemon juice
3 T. paprika
2 T. garlic powder
1 teas. garlic salt
2 T. parsley
2 T. basil
1 teas. red pepper flakes
1 teas. oregano

Method:

1. In mixer, whip margarine, butter until blended well.
2. In saute pan, brown garlic in oil.  Add to butter mixture.
3. Add remaining ingredients to mixer and blend well. 
3. Spread can be served warm or chill in fridge and serve as needed.
