Clams Sausalito
In a trip to the west coast, we got the opportunity to eat and drink a lot of different things. I mean, a lot!
Here's one that inspired me from the East side of the Bay, not that I ate it, but, I made it!

Clams Sausalito
1 dozen clams(little neck)
4 oz chorizo sausage
1 teas. chopped garlic
1/2 c.white wine
fresh cut banana pepper rings
fresh basil
chopped baby clams
cooked linguine
asiago cheese, shredded
diced vine ripened tomatoes
Method:
1.in saute pan, heat sausage until just cooked.
2.add clams, garlic & wine. cover and simmer 2 minutes.
3.add peppers, tomatoes, basil & baby clams.
4.toss in pasta and cheese and plate.
