It's just bread?!

My wife, and many, many others out there can not or would not live without bread!  Some claim that they would rather have a fresh loaf of bread over their favorite steak, fish or other favorite meal....  I agree that bread is a fantastic choice as a snack, starter, side, entree.  I also believe that you gotta do something to it sometimes to enhance it.  A flavored butter is always a great choice. Olive oil, balsamic & garlic, a true Quinn favorite but don't forget the pepper & Romano cheese in it.  Whatever your inspiration for your gluten packed loaf of artistry, live it up!

Deli packed bruschetta bread

1 loaf french, sourdough or Italian bread(baguette style, bias cut)
olive oil
kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
2 oz fresh thin sliced deli style salami
1/2 oz goat cheese
1 oz diced red peppers
2 oz fresh thin sliced deli pepperoni
1 roma tomato, diced
2 artichokes, diced
4 leaves fresh basil
1 oz sliced aged sharp cheddar cheese
2 oz fresh sliced beef round, peppered
1/2 oz caramelized onions
1 oz whole grain mustard
1 oz smoked Gouda cheese

method:

1. season bread with salt and pepper, brush with olive oil and toast.
2.once bread is toasted, top 3 slices with salami, red peppers and goat cheese, top 3 more pieces with pepperoni, diced tomatoes, artichokes, basil and cheddar cheese.  top final three pieces with top round, caramelized onions, mustard and Gouda.  Heat in 325 degree oven for 3-4 minutes or until nice & melted.
serve with additional side of peppers, tomatoes, artichokes and mustard for the family!
