Cinnamon Peach Napoleans

As peach season is here, it is time to go out and get yourself acquainted with these little treasures.  Personally until this year, I could've cared less if I ever ate a peach!  Truth be told, when you try something in a tasting that you didn't create, you force yourself to eat things that you are not willingly going to eat on your own.  So, here's a tip, next time you have some friends over for dinner, make somthing you wouldn't normally eat!  That way, it forces you to try something new.

Cinnamon Peach Napoleans

pound cake
1/2 c heavy whipping cream
1/4 c powdered sugar
cinnamon
fresh ohio peaches, sliced
1 teas. lemon juice
toasted almonds



Method:

1.whip heavy cream with powdered sugar & cinnamon.
2.marinate peaches with lemon juice.
3.layer pound cake with peaches & whipped cream.  Top with toasted almonds.
